Queen Elizabeth II
A Trailblazing Female Leader Passes Away
Changing the world’s perception of women, was achieved by Queen Elizabeth II. Her inherited role provided a position which she embraced. She empowered herself with knowledge and heartfelt wisdom, creating change globally as she met with the world’s male leaders, steering positive change for countries and in the monarch.
In 2011 she championed that females were equal to males in rules of British royal succession. The crown would now pass to the eldest of the family, be it male or female.
In an unusual interview I heard this abridged version of words from her: “The truest form of expression comes from within you, where I believe God speaks to you. It is not for selfish intent. When your soul speaks through you, your job is but to listen. It is your platform. That’s your world stage. Performing to the stage of one”.
She continued on using a term new to me: “Ethical Compassion, towards individuals, groups and society using diversity, multiple standards, perspectives and expectations and spreading compassion”.
Plus: “We as women, do embody the fullness of the life cycle and we have the choice how we love and express our care through ethical compassion towards others AND that is how we lead in the world”.
WOW – Words of Wisdom!
I am inspired by her long trailblazing leadership role. She has paved the way for women to be treated as equals.
My mother shared a story about how her auntie or great auntie (I think) rode horses around to the local farms, speaking to the women, collecting signatures for women to get the vote in New Zealand. That goal was achieved in 19/9/1893. Women had the vote, the first country in the world to grant it!
As I honor the women before me, I continue to work towards my ‘given soul role’ to help other women empower themselves, as women before me have helped me step up. I too am beholden to my goal, via an interactive movie, teach the importance of self-esteem as a keystone to women embracing equality. Knowledge is Power, is my old school motto. It is this wisdom I embrace!
